Incredible documentation of a expert prop build of a Cookie Jar / Beer Tap.

Greg Aronowitz: Guild Xmas blog 2: Clara Mommy and Me Cookie Jar
An incredible post showing Greg Aronowitz bulding a cookie jar/Beer tap for a Guild Commercial spoof. The steps are clear and easy to understand. If you've never done anything like this you probably wouldn't want to try this as your first project but if you have moderate skills this explanation would take you a long way towards being able to do it yourself. And man can that guy sculpt. Awesome posting on an awesome maker blog.

I gots me a new toy!

I picked up a new toy over the weekend. It's the first tech toy I've purchased in over a year. I think the last thing prior to this was when we replaced the broken TV. I don't count cell phones since they are pretty much ubiquitous now.

I got a netbook.

Yep. One of those little mini laptops with the tiny everything; screen, harddrive, keyboard (especially keyboard). It's all teeny tiny.

But it's so cool!
